Laboratory Services

The laboratory plays a large role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Accurate and timely laboratory testing is essential to modern healthcare. Reliable laboratory results enable more accurate diagnoses and more targeted, efficient patient treatment.

Our modern, well-equipped laboratory provides a full range of services for inpatients and outpatients. The laboratory is staffed by registered technologists 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Joint Commission (JCAHO). Tipton Hospital's Lab is also staffed with a full-time board certified Pathologist.

Inpatient and outpatient testing specialties include Hematology, Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Urinalysis and Surgical Pathology.

Laboratory Outpatient Hours:

Monday - Saturday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sundays & Holidays: Closed
